The Denton County Bar Association recently honored the O’Connell Law Firm P.C. Owner and Attorney, Jill O’Connell for her work with the Bar Association in the 2013-2014 year. She received her awards at the Bar Association’s May 2014 business meeting that was held in Denton, Texas earlier this month.
Jill is a member of the Denton County Bar Association and was re-confirmed as a Director for the Denton County Bar Association for the upcoming term. This is her second term as a Director with the Bar Association. For the past two years, Jill worked on the Communications Committee which included working on the monthly Denton County Bar newsletter, facilitating communication to the Denton County Bar Association members, and facilitating the use of new technology with the members. Jill is looking forward to new challenges and experiences while working on the Pro Bono Committee in the upcoming 2014-2015 year.
Later in the meeting, Jill was awarded a plaque from outgoing President of the Bar, Ted Ogilvie, calling her a ‘Delta Force’ contributor to the Bar in the 2013-2014 year with her work on the Communications Committee and the Board of Directors.
In the upcoming 2014-2015 year, Jill O’Connell will co-chair the Denton County Adoption Day Committee and look forward to a great year. Denton County Adoption Day is an event that Ms. O’Connell truly enjoys working on and investing in throughout the year. Jill O’Connell first participated in Denton County Adoption Day in 2008.
